Danger, Opportunity or Both?

6 SEP 2005 Headlines: BNM to scrap RM1 gold coins. It is no longer a legal tender effective 7/12/05.

As expected, but a bit too soon. Now, TIME does matter!! The nature of my job, the Industry that we are in rely solely on these gold coins (I'm not producing fake coins duh!)... at least for now. huh!

We need to come with a solution! Once these coins is out from the market, and we, without a solution within 60days from now... will be wipe out!! That means my butter & bread is at stake.

This is "wei chi" he says... explaining the characters in chinese to me as Danger & Opportunity. It is a crisis to us now but also an opportunity. If we have a good solution, we will stay on, or else wipe off.

So, best we could do is to stay put, fight... and make sure it is the coins that is being wipe off. NOT US!!
